Intermediate – Senior Personal Lines Account Manager

Birkett-Hassard Insurance Brokers is hiring an experienced Personal Lines Account Manager to fill a full-time position in our office.

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional service and advice to new and existing clients on exposure and risks
• Building and growing a book of business with referrals, networking and account rounding
• Review renewals for premiums, coverage recommendations and remarket as needed
• Processing changes and new business within company portals, broker management systems and third-party providers
• Respond to email and phone inquiries promptly and knowledgably
• High level of attention to detail in updating and recording all client and company communications
• Preparing and completing all documents accurately and efficiently

Qualifications

• RIBO Licensed with minimum 3 years of personal lines experience (C.A.I.B and/or C.I.P. an asset)
• Good working knowledge of personal lines insurance and coverages (farm Insurance knowledge would be an asset)
• Broker Management System and Applied Rating Experience (TAM, Epic, Excel experience is an asset)
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to multi-task
• Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to problem solve and learn new skills
